Just got some drift wood....

Yea, I got it like hours ago

But, it looks nice, is there anything I should take note of having drift wood?

Like Some mix etc

Depending on the size of the piece or pieces and were it me, I would boil the pieces for at least an hour. DO NOT leave them to boil unattended. If they are too large (pot not large enough) I would rinse hell out of them and then soak the piece or pieces in a rubbermaid tub for at least a week changing the water daily until it remains clear after 24 hours. I have been seen at local carwash rinsing driftwood (no soap!)

Boil them (I did mine two hours) and also give them a very good scrub with a clean, soap free brush. I've got a specific brush (it's actually a nail brush) that I got for like $1 and I use it JUST for fish stuff.

oops Perhaps I should clarify. DON"T put a lid on the pot while boiling and as stated ,DON"T leave boiling water unattended.

Driftwood is porous so it shouldn't have the same tendency to explode as rocks when boiled.

Also, update your tank progress thread after the driftwood is in the tank! I always enjoy seeing the progress of new tanks coming along.
