Slime Coat?

I saw these at the bottom of Stumpy's hospital tank. Is it his slime coat? Sorry the image is crappy. I had a hard time getting my camera to focus on it.

food poo plant matter anything really, never actually seen or even heard of smile coat accumulating at the bottom

Well this is in a hospital tank. So, no plant matter, food is always eaten up; anything not eaten is removed. Certainly not poo. It's very much like a ribbon. Thin, wide/curly.

still sticking with either bio matter or cyano, curious to see what others think
