would I need an air pump in my ten gallon tank?

my fish seem to be doing fine I was just wondering if they could be doing better or if I put more fish in there are currently three cichlids in it

What sort of filter do you have? With a decent filter, you should get enough surface agitation that an air pump won't be necessary unless your fish require highly oxygenated water.
