New Tank Filter Problem
So I bought a used 30 gallon tank from my local craigslist. He gave me 2 filters, one which supposedly worked, another that was new but he took parts off of to fix the old one (didn't make sense to me). So we hooked up the new one after putting the other parts back in and now it blows tiny bubbles everywhere. The boyfriend and I went to my local fish store and the guy said it must be that the filter is sucking up air somehow through a leaky seal or something.
It is better now that we went through it and checked the seals, but it is still blowing tiny tiny tiny bubbles out. This is a 30 gallon Marineland HOT Magnum filter.
Any suggestions? I'm hesitant to run out and buy a new filter...
did you try and put the "new" parts back in the old one and see if it still blows little bubbles.
