ideas for a 10gal
so i have a 10 gallon just sitting round (rehomed a second 10) and have a 10 set up as a quarrentein tank...

id realy like to do something fairly interesting with it...

it was set up as a small comunity tank but we had a HUGE hair/stringy green algea problem with it so it got broken down and cleaned and is now sitting empty and lonely.

i already have plans ofr a 55 gal all male peacock tank as a room divider...and im planning a 7gal what to do with the 10 gallon.

ideas would be great!

i like color, i like personality.

im NOT a fan of most livebearers (though guppies are cool!)

id be willing to go species or community
id also be willing to do a vivarium or terrerium with it...

some thoughts ive had

dwarf puffers (would be new i like puffers but have never tried them!)
mixed community with a gourami and a nice sized group of tetra...or other...
firebelly newt

so folks, have fun and come up with some cool, fun and possibly unusual uses for a lonesome 10 gallon. i have a filter for up to 30 gallons set aside for use if more filtration is needed so....

how about
1 german blue ram
6 cardinal tetras
5 kuhili loaches

If u go with a german blue ram please understand that they can be a difficult fish they need clean water and are picky about temperature and stuff like that but great choice....dwarf puffers are a great fish one of my personal favorits i would go with those then maybe a few corys like 3 puffers and a couple corys would be good

The puffers are a good idea, but I wouldn't try mixing them with cories. Dwarf puffers are notorious fin nippers and if you try this, you'd likely end up with some finless cories.
