so it was dead? because im sure you know, those little  can wipe out a tank!

onefish2fish 07-29-2008 09:41 PM

and i this is "off topic" but i just saw your QT has 2 african dwarf frogs, FYI they suck at eating.. lol.. id suggest a tank for themselves because fish will eat there food way before they even realize they've been fed. just something to look out for! good luck.

EWWWWW!!! jeaninel :( I was eating :( and really excited until I saw what you found, then I almost ralphed.

Little-Fizz, LOL. Sorry about that!

Onefish, Yep the ADFs are real dumb when it comes to finding food. They were left over from before I turned this tank into a QT (I moved the 6 rasboras that were in it into the 37 gallon). But the 37 gallon is way too deep for them (23" high) and the 55 gallon has too much competition for food also. So, for now, they're staying in the 10 gallon. I target feed them to make sure they get something to eat.

Oh, and yes, the dragonfly larvae was dead... sun-dried along with the shrimp.

Hehe, perfectly nutritious and healthy once it's dead :)
