ok just gotta new tank, i think its 36gallons? if they make them that size.. anyways the center support bar was cut.. so im making my own from plexiglass and other then that the tank is completely bare.. im planning on filling it with freshwater and fishless cycling it but i want to know what suggestions of types of fish and live plants, as well as tank decorations all the way down to my substrate..i honestly have no clue what to do with this one.. so im taking all replies into consideration.. thanks!

Wish I had your problem. My girlfriend says she will leave me if I bring home another Tank. I think I will miss her terribly. :D

Maybe a shoal of loaches (that stay small like kuhlii) Or cory cats.

Maybe a school of like 6 black skirt or serpae tetras or both? You could really have any tetra I just like that way those tetras look. They do tend to be nippy though, but they keep it amongst themselves when you have a big enough group.

And then like a center piece fish like a gourami or maybe you could get a dwarf cichlid, like a blue or bolivian ram.

Thats my suggestion, I hope I gave you some ideas at least :wink:

edit: OH! And maybe some ottos? Or some upside down catfish, that would be cool!
