is my pregnant guppy sick???
Hi there thanks for reading this. I have a newly bought female guppy she is very pregnant. She was fine the whole afternoon of yesterday and this morning. The other fish picked at her so I put her in the breeder net. She suddenly stoped eating and pooping, she is still swimming around but its more like she is whipping her tale from side to side it. She is breathing heavily and looks very uncomfirtable. I put this in deseases because I don't know if she's sick or not please help me. PS. I do not know the stats of my water is I do not have a kit. And she has no raised scales. She only has white at the place where her anus is.

Without much information to go on, it's really hard to say what the problem is, or if there is one.

Guppies in labor look uncomfortable, and can become a target for others in the tank. If I recall, you have a fairly new setup which may still be cycling, correct? This could also also be affecting her negatively. . . I'm not really sure how to help you without knowing more information. . . do you happen to have a picture of the 'white area?'

All I can really say is to do a water change and keep the water clean for her. Clean water is always the most important thing - whether a fish is healthy or sick, it makes all the difference in the world. . . I'm sorry I can't be of more help. Hopefully someone else will see something that I've missed, and be able to provide more of a concrete idea as to what is going on in there. . .:(
