Tropical Fish Keeping - Aquarium fish care and resources - Guess, since I've been posting, I should introduce myself...

Hi, my name is Patty! I am just starting back into the aquarium hobby after being away from it for over 25 years. I think I have forgotten A LOT!!
When I was a kid, my aunt owned a LFS (that's what you guys call it, right?), and I worked there every summer. I was in love with the hobby! I had tons of aquariums, and different fish, but I loved African Cichlids the most!
Upon heading off to college, I had to give up my tanks. I really missed them. And promised myself that one day I would get back into them.
My husband (deaf) of almost 3 years now really loves them too, so we just decided to go for it. I set up a 20 gallon that is cycling now, and I have 2 more that I want to set up (another 20 gallon (homemade), and a 10 gallon).
My dream is to have a 100 gallon of African Cichlids, plus my other 3. But I don't know if that will happen...maybe just a 55 gallon will do.
I would like to put some shellies in my homemade 20 gallon, and maybe a few others. Don't know what I want to do with the 10 gallon yet. Right now I am just trying to concentrate on re-learning this hobby without killing too many fish!
