Discharge prior to birth??

"Big Fat Momma", my Dalmation Mollie is very preggo. She is in the breeding trap and I'm on pins and needles!! She has been having some milky/white discharge this evening. Anyone experience this right before birth?

My Plattie just had 30 fry 2 days ago

OK, i guess my question has been answered. She is smaller this morning. More white stuff in the trap with her. I assume she aborted.

Oh, sorry to hear that. Maybe being in the breeding trap was too stressful for her. Maybe try putting her in a small (5.5 gallon??) tank next time with lots of plants for the fry to hide in. Then just take her out when she has given birth, and the fry can stay, for a while anyway. Just my thoughts because I have heard a lot of things like this when fish are put in breeder traps. Sorry about your fry  .

 Yeah, I think I'm just going to leave her in the main tank from now on. I have plenty of hiding paces and floating plant for the fry.
