update on betta's fins...
 

rocky is doing great... fins are already looking much better. We drove into the city and got some medicine for him and bought a couple of plants (blade leaf)... the plants are awesome! -I've never seen fish water so clear... We got him frozen bloodworms and he's in heaven...
Hubby and I are already talking about when we build our new house installing an aquarium- a wall one you can see though into the other room... we thought it would be cool to make glass tunnels along the walls... this wouldn't be able to happen for a few more years though.. gives us enough time to plan and learn...

I'm glad to hear that Rocky is doing better. I was wondering how he was doing. Your plans for an aquarium in your new house sound great!

were your fish's fins just clumped together or were they tangled at the ends? My fish has gotten his top fin tangled, the very end almost looks like a knott, it did not look like that when i first bought him but i believe it happened on the car ride home... I was hoping it would go away but it defiantley is not.

I have a fish right now whose fins look pretty tattered. I think it's old age, though or maybe because of the stress he went through before I got him. He belonged to someone who didn't take care of him. I would try using some Bettafix.
