bristlenose pleco and plants

I found out from another member that bristlenose plecos will eat amazon swords if they are so inclined. Is this true of all sword plants or just Amazon Swords? I am looking at Red Rubin, Ruffle Sword, and Narrow Leaf Chain Sword. Others I was thinking of adding are Alternanthera Reineckii, Hygrophila salicifolia, and Crinum calamistratum. Anyone have experience with these guys, are these plants probably safe?

Thanks!

ps I tried a school of ottos instead of the bristlenose pleco and they are terrified in my two foot tall tank... they just stay at the top edges of the tank and look pitiful. Plus I've added an angel and a African Knife at this point.
