im am soon to get a 55 gallon aquarium and i was wondering if n e one could tell me the best occupents to have, fish and invertebrets. thxies.

Were it me, I would want small schooling, community fish that got along with each other. You can always google search any fish you are interested in and look to see what their water requirements are and suggested tankmates. Only you can decide what you want. I would steer clear of large or aggressive fish as this will limit other choices you may want in the future. :D

Personally I like tetras, platys, guppies, rasboras, cory catfish, etc. as they all able to get along in a community and there are lots of colorful options. Finish things off with a center piece fish or two and you'll have a nice tank I think.

personally,i'd say go to the fish store,and take a good look around,
take a pencil and paper with you,
write down the fish that really look nice to you,
then post your list on here,and i'm sure members will be able
to guide you in the best direction.
or forget having inverts,and go for a nice group of mixed
Barbs.
