What kind of fish food should I consider getting?
I don't know why, but my bloodfin tetras are having a difficult time chewing on the fish flake that I give it, so how should I proceed?
Here is the list of my fish by the way, so you guys can determine what fish food should I get for all of them and is it safe to feed them with some fruit/vegetable?
3 Bloodfin Tetras
3 Long-Finned Black Skirt Tetras
3 Japanese Algae Eating Shrimps
3 Upside Down Catfish
3 Black Kuhli Loaches[/code]
What sized tank?
30 gallons, I think! I have to converse with my dad to confirm the size!
First thing you could do is crumble your flake up finer. Hikari also makes some remarkably small pellets that seem to work fine even for my threadfin rainbows, which have notably small throats and mouths. Live, frozen, or freeze dried cyclops and daphnia would make a great treat as well. I feed cyclopeze to my threadfins every other day.
