So yesterday my friend's little brother (16 y/o) comes home with a frog in his hands... states he found it at a friends house and wants it as a pet. Right now my friend says hes in some little cage thing with a bottom with water and some other stuff in it. Im assuming his old hermit crab cage?
Anyways im pretty sure thats not suffient for this little frog AND we need to find out what kinda frog this is... so he knows if he real can keep up with the care of it.
We know ppl that work in the local animal clinic so we'll take the frog later and see what they can tell us. I have 10 gal aquarium im not using so i figured if this frog is keepable we can set him up in there?
What kind of heater should we use? substrate? I wanted to set it up so that one side is halfway filled with water and the other side land... is that a good idea? The water part should have a filter right? What do i need to kno to help him set up a home for this frog?
Any and all info you could give would be greatly appreciated
Can't tell you much till we know what kinda frog it is. The 10 gallon will probably be suitable though, probably once you figure out what kind of frog you can google it and get a general idea of what it needs but also ask here for more practical advice:)
How's the frog doing? If you still have it, that is. :D
