Hello everyone

I just bought a blue ahli cichlid and i was planning on buying a bigger tank and getting some tank mates for him within the next few weeks but im not too good at figuring out what fish are compatible so i need some help!
So this is what i want to do.. i want one kind of each fish if i can :P either all males or all females w/e will be better
1 dolphin cichlid
1 yellow lab
1 blue ahli
1 blue peacock
1 powder blue socolofi

any and all advice will be appreciated

I would worry about the lab and dolphin. As for the rest I believe it would be a free for all .In my humble opinion ,a large tank would be mandatory.

so can i do all males? or all females? cause i dont think i should mix them right

If it's one of each species then gender won't matter- the reason one gender is recommended is to prevent pairs from forming within a species, which makes them much more territorial.

What size are you planning on making this tank? As previously noted, it's going to be an aggressive free-for-all.

Well I know I need a big tank I just dont know how big.. what do you think I should get?
Do you think it would be better if I didnt get the yellow lab, so it would be:
1 dolphin cichlid
1 blue ahli
1 blue peacock
1 powder blue socolofi
