breeding tiger barbs
breeding tiger barbs are they easy i got a fat female and how long does it take for the eggs to stay in her belly before she lays them i got some males today and would like to breed them my water temp stays bout 80 degrees and i have a 5 g tank and a 2.5 g tank i can move them to any advice
I tried, but it was when I first started to try to breed and I failed.
This is what I read and tried to do. If they grew up together, then they won't mate. You have to have the female in her own tank for a while, then introduce the male later on after you've feed the female fat with frozen and live foods.
I'm sure there's people here who have done it and can tell you what I did wrong and what to do right.
well i have had the female for about 8 months before getting any males and she is fat ive been feeding them a mixture of freeze dried blood worms and flakes
There's something about them spawning during the sunrise/early morning. Just read and try and if you fail, try again. I had too much going on at the time and didn't really have the time to tinker around.
is it best to leave the lights off or on them i am always confused with this i dont no if i should leave them on durning the day or at night they get warmer durning the day then night
should i put a male and a female in a breeder box together just them to and see what happens
