HELP! fish lives on the line
I have a 12 gallon eclipse system bowl.
It has a built in filter heater and light.
I have done nothing different.
I have 6 neon tetras, 2 fresh angels, and 3 red flame gouramis.
2 neon tetras and one red flame gourami has died
The pH was a bit low the water crystle clear.
I need help what is going on !!!!!!!!!!!!! :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
Well, I'd recommend rethinking your stocking, as the tank seems overstocked. Angelfish grow far too large for a 12 gallon tank. Also, flame gourami are quite territorial amongst themselves and likely picked on the weakest one until he died. I would not keep more than one in a 12 gallon tank, as there is not enough territory for more.
My guess is your tank has built up some water quality issues. Just because the water is "crystal clear" does not mean it doesn't have toxins in it that are hurting your fish. We're going to need to know your exact water parameters, especially ammonia, nitrites and nitrates.
