Name this Pleco

First of all what type of pleco is it?.

second- I would like some suggestions for a name. All of my fish have names, and I just got this guy two days ago for free from my LFS who sadly is going out of business. :( http://www.fishforum.com/userpix/7112_001_9.jpg

He's adorable! How big will he get? (Or her.....)

Looks to me like a snowball pleco (L-102). That's one heck of a free fish, considering liveaquaria sells them for $59.99 and I've seen them for at least $50 in stores.

...Where is this LFS?

It looks like a "Tooth-nose" to me. If it is they grow exta large.
Wild from Brazil, Does'nt like too bright a tank.
Its only a guess, I could be wrong.
He sure is beautiful, I love Placo's.

Tooth nose does seem like a good guess, I've always called them Galaxy plecos, although the latin name is Leporacanthicus galaxias.

You can tell it's not a snowball pleco because the second photo clearly shows the lack of a dark stripe along the entire margin of the tail fin.

Still a darn good pleco though, congrats!

Those are all the ones that I thought looked like yours. Why do so many plecos have spots? I have always liked the name of Sucker for my plecos.

How about Poco or knight.

I'm not much help there, I never name my fish, just call them by their latin names.
