Pictus & Tetra

I know this is probably a stupid question with an obvious answer but I'm going to ask it anyway:

Is it possible for a pictus cat (3") to eat an inch(!) long tetra??

I had five neons and last night came home to only four.
I've looked EVERYWHERE and the neon is not in the tank.
The tank is tightly covered.
Did Loki eat the poor little guy??

I also have an upside-down cat (2") but I'm sure "Chicken Little" didn't get that neon in his little mouth....

:?: :?:

Don't worry about asking questions. The only question being stupid is the one not asked. Yes, it's possible for a pictus to eat a tetra that size. An inch is very small.
