what plants would be best for an angel?

Not knowing what type of substrate or lighting you have makes it tough for those who would make suggestions. Were it me I would look at watersprite. :wink:

They're known to eat plants, so whatever they won't eat is a good idea. Not that they are voracious plant eaters, but they're cichlids, and therefore trouble makers :P

+1 for the vallisneria. Any tall, grassy plant is great for them.

Also, a nice wide leaf sword would be good, as that is what they lay their eggs on. Amazon sword's the popular choice, but there's a million other options as well.

I have a pair of Platinum Angelfish and they haven't muched on any of my plants since I got them about 2 years ago. I have never had any angelfish bother or eat any of my plants.
