Lyretail Dalmation Molly
I have a female Dalmation that I have had at minimum one month maybe a little longer. Anyway she is the only Molly in that tank and she has gotten extremely huge. So I assume she came pregnant. I pulled her out of the 20 gallon community tank and put her in a 1 gallon tank by herself last night. Because our algea eater was chasing her on the tank bottom and she was wanting to be down there. She is soo fat that he scales are starting to stand up. How long before she has the babies? She is eating fine and normal otherwise it just concerned me that she was so big it made her scales stand up a little.. ANy help would be great...
is there any chance of a photo? does she/he look like a pinecone from above? im thinking that its dropsy, but a photo will help as wellp as your water parameters. wait for a more experienced member to come along and it might be worth posting in the disease section with the information that is required:
^that is the information needed.
looking like a pinecone =/= dropsy, it = swelling
^ im thinking the same thing but only a picture can really help.
