New 2.5 planted! Pepper had to have one too
Ok so I went to petsmart for cichlid food and ...well lets just say I got a great deal ....and.. oh hell here is what I bought
2.5 gallon, with glass hood, $11.99. I had to use a glass nipper to make a place for the heater cord to come out the top and a few places for air. I am not really satisfied with the cover I think I will jst get some plastic canvas..
Pepper got an up grade. Actually the same size but his brandy glass was taller, he seems much happier with more swim space. He has been darting in and out of the plats all afternoon.

I have a good bit of plants on order. I am thinking of tucking in more petite anubias between the rocks and adding some hair grass to the "valley" area. WDYT?

Pygmy chain swords are awesome too. I can't *stop* mine from growing. It actually sent out runners through a PVC tube and out the other side.
