I have a 55 gal tank, hob filter, and 3 sponge filters. 4 angels about 4 inch. 8 platties, which the fry the angels eat, 1 cory, amd one pleco bristle nose What would be a good mix of fish to stock all levels of the tank and not crowd them. The tank is also planted

4 angels will more than fill out your 55 once they're grown. I would just add 5 more cories since they are a shoaling fish and need to be in groups and call it done. If you get a breeding pair of angels out of the 4 you may have to rehome the other two as they will get very aggressive towards the others.

thank you for the info. I used to breed angels. but lost all 20 breeding pairs at one time . That has been quite a few years ago, and am now just getting back into fish keeping, Now it will be for the fun of it, like it was when I first kept fish.
