Diy Backgrounds easy and inexpensive?
im looking to create some diy backgrounds for my 55 gallon mbuna tank and 20 gallon high planted tetra tank...
i want to make a nice 3d background to look more natural and cool, but the store ones are too expensive..
ive seen like concrete ones, but i dont wanna mess up my water too bad so im looking for simple things i can find at canadian tire or rona (biking distance for me- no licence)
could some one give me some ideas and list of materials that i would need...
thanks for all help
I'm in the same situation and would love an answer to this question too :)
Not sure on your price range. I did see somewhere a person used plastic plumbing pipe to good effects. Google PVC 3d background. Probably the cheapest way I can think of. I'm doing a foam version myself. And instead of concrete using epoxy resin to seal it. Just search diamond in the rough on this forum. If you want some ideas on cost
