One molly is unable to float and lays upside down on bottom, all fish have this white film or fuzzy spots. I had a guppy die after only showing sign for less than a day, the loach showed no signs last night and was dead this morning with thick white stuff. Fish still have appetite. they are not moving much at all.

14. a. Have you treated your fish ahead of diagnosis? salt water bath
b. What meds were used? aquarium salt
EDIT: One mollies tail is white on very end then turning black.
Not all fish are affected, Gourami and catfish have no spots and are completely active
sounds like either velvet or ich to me
when you had the water tested how long ago was this?
before or after these sighns started to show up?
were all fish added at once?
are you able to get a picture?
do you notice any rapid gill movement as in does it appear they are heavily breathing very fast?
how recent was the water tested for ammonia, nitriate and nitrite
Fish were all bought at different times, no rapid gill movement, one molly, the on that cant float, has labored breathing... Its not ich or velvet
i would get a test again since you are now seeing signs Im going to suspect a ammonia spiek is to blame, but then again it could be the notoriously poor genetics of livebears. hopefully someone more knowledgeable with them will come along soon.
One of the mollies was dead this morning but the other molly seems fine, but a slight case of fin rot trying to start where the white stuff was
If you could post some pictures, that would be really helpful.
It def. is not ich and fungal infections are more rare than bacterial but if there is true fuzz, it could very well be fungal. The fact that the molly's fins are turning black could be signs of fin rot. Are the fins rotting away or just turning color?
On a side note, is there any reason that you're doing a gravel vac. every day? Is this just because the fish are sick?
I vac everyday because i have sand and it lookes gross with all th poopsies. And the tail doesnt seem to be deteriorating it just is black on the very edge. And i disposed of the dead fish before i thougt about taking any pictures. but i'll try to get a picture of my remaining molly's tail.
It looked like this though
it was also on the mouth and gills.
