Daz 11-26-2006 06:49 AM

trreherd 11-26-2006 05:12 PM

Ok i think you are either taliking about moonlighting or color inhancing flourecent tubes

Daz 11-26-2006 05:32 PM

Yes that correct, not moonlighters thou. The ones that make even my teeth look white.

caferacermike 11-26-2006 06:18 PM

You could use black lights if you wanted or buy some super actinic bulbs for marine tanks.

girlofgod 11-26-2006 06:20 PM

yea...sounds like ur talking about blacklights...those are the only ones i know that would turn your mouth white...but ive never heard of them being used in a tank...could you imagine what coral would look like under that light? amazing!

Well this is the plan, but I need to know how it could effect bacteria. 2hours after lights out is what I'm looking at.

flatcam1 11-27-2006 03:29 AM

i have red L.E.D lights if thats what you mean.
they are for my catfish because the supposidly can't see them.
i don't know if they can't see them but i know that they can't see it but they certainly seem more relaxed and happy when it is on.
hope this helps!
