If the fry have just hatched and are in a small wiggling mass, You can either take them out into another tank by them selves with mother.

Or you can just put some cavernous ornaments near the fry and the parents should put them in that.

What fish do you have in your tank/how big?,and how big are your convict parent/s.?

I would be much more concerned with your other fish getting killed or seriously injured by the defending parents. Most often the Convicts will have any/all other tank mates driven to the opposite side/top of the tank. They are relentless and will never stop attacking the tank mates.

Another option I have used is a tank divider. Then you can give the other fish 3/4 of the tank and 1/4 to the convicts.Of course this is usually a last resort for me as it is not healthy for the parents and fry in a small area.

Also, be aware of the male after 7-10 days the fry turn into snacks. If you leave them alone, the male should be fine where he is focused on defending. But I always remove my Males from the breeder tanks after 1 week.

keep us posted!!
