Is he sick?
My betta, Henry, is quite active and rather lively. That said, I noticed last night that he seems to have a lesion of sorts on his back just before his tail, almost as though the scales were rubbed off. There are no other symptoms. It is not bleeding. He frankly doesn't even seem to notice. I've only had him for two weeks. I've maintained good water conditions. Is he sick? Or did he just get a cut?
posting pictres would be best is ur tank heated? how big is it? what are ur water conditions? how often do u change the water? what kind of things are in the tank?
all of those things will help us treat him
Okay, I'll try and post a pic soon. I don't have a heater. I change the water once a week and the tank is 1.5 gallons. More info to come.
i am already seeing a problem bettas need 2.5 gallon tanks at least and they dont 100% need a heater to survive but they do much much better with a heater
