do you see any thing missing? I'm also thinking of getting a tank Buddie but I'm not sure of what kind, any suggestions?

That's one lucky Betta. :) You did a good job planing the set up, it looks like it has everything it needs.

Looks great - I bet you've got one happy betta. :D

Pygmy corries, small tetras, ADFs, kuhli loaches or a couple platies are what would come to mind if it were my tank. I may also try bumblebee gobies, but I've never kept them with a betta before so I'm not sure... I do keep them with sparkling gouramis, platies, cards, and ottos and there are no signs of aggression. They tend to mind their own business.

Some more plants and hiding spots, I think. Make sure you wait till the tank is cycled to add anyone else especially cories.
