freshwater shells for saltwater hermits?
 
I was just wondering, assuming one of my golden apple snails die, is it possible to use its shell in a saltwater aquarium for a hermit crab? :o

I'm not sure, but the shells look different in design. I think it would be better to stick with shells that were made/found for hermits.

i see some hermit crabs use bottle caps as shells
