Want to add angelfish

Hi. I've been thinking of adding some angelfish to my community tank, and was wondering ifsomeone can give me advice on how to do so. My main concern is the water parameters of the tank are designed for my other fish, which are 3 gouramis, 7 platies, 3 cories, and 2 brstlenose-plecos. All are relatively small at this time, and the tank is a 55 gal. tank. Anyway, the hardness and pH is what i'm worried about. The sources online says it like soft-to medium, and my tank is at 100 ppm GH. Its pretty hard water, and the pH is at 7.2. Do you think these parameters are good enough, or should I soften the water?

A lot of scalare angels are adapted to that range and should be fine. What species are these gouramis? Most gouramis are semi-aggressive and can harass the angelfish.
