So like the title says I woke up this morning to find not only baby snails crawling around on the glass, but I also found my kribensis cichlid had a small school of little baby fry. I'm planning on getting a small little net breeder box for the baby kribs. My question is how do I get them in the box without hurting them? Also I don't have any room in the tank for them when they get bigger how big do they have to be for me to sell them? or at least what is a good size and how much can I get for them?
Thanks for all the help!
Only your LFS, Local Fish Store can tell you how much $ and when/size they will take them. I would think they need to be at least an inch.
Usually catching the fry with a net is what I do for Molly and Swordtails, however some species actually make great parents. I don't know about Kribensis so I can't answer if this is one of them.
I guess the Angel would be a worry tho... ie snacking.
Thank you! So far the parents seem to be doing great. All the other fish seem to be staying away, but I still wana separate just to make sure.
