Some plecos are very difficult to breed, but Bristlenose plecos are very easy. All they really require is clean water, high quality food and a narrow tube/cave to lay their eggs in. I think that's what most of the plecos breeding references on this site are about.

pH 6.6-7
good diet including algae wafers, fruit, veggies and blood worms once a week.
Feed fry BBS, fruit and veggies

Really big tank because once they start they don't stop.

I do not remember off the top of my head if you should have more males than females or visa versa. Will try to find it or hopefully another member will remember for me.

Yeah, if you have a male and a female bristlenose, and you treat them well, they will breed every month or two. I've been doing some research on breeding clown plecos, and evidently they're easy to breed and insanely difficult to raise the fry. Farlowella and Rineloricaria whiptails are also supposedly fairly easy once you get them going.

I don't really know about the male/female ratio either. All I've read says since you can't sex them when they are young, just buy a bunch and you should end up with both genders. (I've got 9 lol, so it should work out). I haven't read anything stating that gender ratio is very important.

One male to one female is best.....and as big a tank as you can aford! So far I've breed Farlowella sp Vittata, Hypancistus sp. L174, Hypancistrus sp. L333, Peckoltia sp. "zwerg", Panaque sp. L204, Ancistrus sp. (common brown) and albino ancistrus sp the way Farlowella sp. are a pain to try and raise! PH isn't that importent for most sp. of plecs...but a drop in TDS is to get them to spawn! My ph is around 7.4 and I have some breeding all the time....
