I had some that got to about 9" or so. I had them for quite a few years, almost 10 years to be exact. But these fish will eat ANYTHING that will fit into their mouths, even other fish too long to swallow completely.

10-30 inches with under 12 inches the norm on aquariums and 30 inches being normal in the wild. Probably has to do with diet and swimming space.

f4a, ???????. Ctenolucius hujeta, the freshwater barracuda only reaches, 9"-10" max!! There are other fish that may carry the same common name, but I am unaware of any.
