I just got flourecent lights inside of my tank, i took out the incandecent, I would highly reccomend fluorecent lights now, they r awesome.
i just want to know what differences will i be able to tell, the advantages and disadvantages of fluorecent over incandecent, or should i put the incandecent top back on?
u shouldnt use incandescent blubs with fish because the give off heat and change ur water temp vs florescent that stay cool and dont affect ur water temp
i agree on that, my incan. top kept it at about 84 degrees, i can see the colors on my fish better too, which helped out my taking pics. prob. i had when i first got on the forum........lol
yea florescent bulbs are better all around not only for fish but for ur home
