My 3 gallon tank

Alright so I'm a big aquariumist so I have many tanks and I think it's about time to fill back up the 3 galloner. Then I get to thinking what kind of fish would fit in there besides betta! So what kind of fish can I get?!?!?

You could go with a shrimp or snail tank. Or even get some frogs. You might be able to have 1 or 2 same sex guppies (preferably male that way you don't have to deal with babies all the time) However, the thing with the guppies is they are fairly active and they will need plenty of water changes. Some people here would say to not attempt it so I'm not sure.
other than that i'm not sure what else (at least as far as mainstream fish go) would work. A betta is most likely your best bet.

I think I'll get some guppies and if I end up with fry ill put them in one of my other tanks

Guppies are kind of weird though and when I think of them I think of dead fish so I'm not sure

Good choice. Personally I think (unless you are going with male endlers/ endler guppies) that a trio of guppies won't have much room. Although I don't know that specific frog I think it's probably a much better way to go.

It turns out that that frog is all aquatic and is made for 1 gallon tanks or bigger so I'm fine

I've heard they are pretty entertaining.
