Cray compatability - Cajun & shield

I have a 75-gal tank, medium planted (lots of moss & java ferns) with around 15 fish. Also resident are around 10 dwarf Cajun crays (cambarellus shufeldtii).

I've recently won an auction for a half-dozen shield/ditch fencing crayfish (Faxonella clypeata). Would these make OK tankmates for the cajuns, or do they need to go into a different tank?

They are likely to fight if mixed... you'de be best off keeping them in seperate tanks. You might also find that in housing them together, fish may begin to disappear.... fish are an awful tempting treat if they can catch them.

Mixing them is not a good idea. All the research I have done on Crays says that the Shuffelti will do good in groups but do not like competition from other species. Other species of Cambarellus are supposed to be okay to mix but not other species.
