Ok, My red tailed black shark is covered with ick, my platy has like 3 little spots on his fin, i bought some medication and some aquarium salt, i just did it yesterday and as soon as i got home i treated the tank, it hasnt helped yet but hopefully within the next week it will be clearing up, any ideas on what else i can do? I dont want to lose my buddies

you just have to wait and let the medication run its course

Turn up the tank temp to 84 over the course of a few hours....

White spot disease. Check my sticky in Freshwater Diseases section so you will know what disease to expect with your fish.
