Worm ID please?

I went searching for a possibly dead shrimp in my tank, digging through the sand (These ghost shrimps love to bury themselves), when I found this odd looking worm. What kind of worm is it, and would it be harmful to my fish or shrimp? Or could it be used to help clean up after the fish?

It seems to have shedded too, as it was working a ring of something off itself when I caught it. The little brown stuff at the bottom is what it was working off itself.[/i]

It is a nematode of some sort. Could be substrate or rock dwelling or intestinal that came out with fecal matter.
It's hard to tell because the photo isn't very clear... if you can get some clearer pics of it, please post them.

I believe it is a nematode, after doing internet searches, unfortunately Wikipedia also states there are over 80,000 nematodes, with 15,000 species being parasitic... Though now that I get a closer look at it, it has spines (or whatever you call them) that make it look a lot like a bristle worm...
I did go out on an Oceanography trip to examine different creatures in the lagoon I got this annelid from, and we did get a lot of bristle worms...

Here's some closer pics of the worm, showing the bristles along its body.

Not a bristle worm... a polychaete...
