Whiptail catfish owners

Do you find that you have trouble keeping more than one in a tank?
What about dietry requirements, are they just algae eaters or do you need to supplement their diet with vegetables?
What tankmates are compatible?

Any help would be great thanks!

You shouldn't have any trouble keeping a few together.
They say that they do eat vegetables like cucumber, spinich, zuccini, ect, but they dont seem to be very interested in it, but do try. Mine seem to like shrimp pellets.
Any non agressive fish will go good with whiptails.

A good quality high protein pellet is best for whiptails.

I use the Sera algae chips and that combined with shrimp pellets gets them to spawn.

They are fairly shy eaters though so make sure they are getting enough food.

Wood should also be made available to whiptails. I have 6 Farrowellas and wood must be made available to them. I would imagine that the same goes for other whiptails too.
