Do I panic or is it's ok. Do you know why his tank would be producing to many bubbles?
Perhaps he needs to turn the aerator down?
Without a pic, it's hard to say. Can you provide any more information about the bubbles?
dont quote me on this but i belive bettas will produce bubbles at the top of the tank as a nest when they are ready to breed reguardless if there is a mate or not.
That is correct, male bettas will make a bubble nest. Though, they don't blow enough bubbles to cause concern.
If the bubbles are on the glass, rocks, and any other surfaces, this would be from filling up the tank really fast when you change water. Normally I just wipe these bubbles off and they don't return.
The bubbles are only on the top. He likes to swim around alot and he bends almost in half while doing his tricks? How long will this "nesting" continue?
have a look here Bubble Nests | Betta Fish Care
Then hes just blowing a bubble nest. There is nothing to worry about and most betas build one at some point in there life.
The nest last about a week unless you remove it, and how long the betta will keep doing it is up to the betta. Some build one and that is it, or they will doing it a year or more. The males build the nests to put eggs in, then the betta fry hatch in it.
I've heard from my friend that can contain bacteria so I usually removed it after a couple days.
Thank you this was exactly what he was doing
