building a sump
i was planning on building a sump for my 55 gallon. could anyone give me some layouts on a sump. i was thinking of using a 10 gallon tank but if anyone thinks i should go different please say
Here are three that I've built. The first two are from 20g high tanks, the last is from a 30g long.
The 30g long is what I have on my current 55g system.
Personally, I would recommend against the 10g.
20g is the minimum i would recommend for a 55g tank.
The 30g would be far better.
do you got any web sites or anything where it shows you step by step to build one of the 20 gallons you have
I have all the photos for a step-by-step, just never got around to writing it out. Perhaps I can find the time to write one up.
that would be very helpful
