Canister Filter

If i have bioballs, lr and live sand with a protein skimmer, Do I need a canister filter??

Canisters will filter out particulates and also prvide additional biological filtration. More never hurts.

But, be careful with your Bioballs. What system do you plan on running? If you will have reef, Bioballs will hurt you. It will become a 'trate factory which will kill most corals. If you are doing FOWLR, then it is ok.
