You couldn't get an easier fish to take care of. They will eat flakes so no need to buy special algae wafers or other foods, even though they are a tasty treat. Mine also loves shrimp pellets. They do poop alot, and grow very rapidly.

What kind of plecostomus? Dwarf? Common?

stephenmontero 04-12-2008 07:20 PM

just a common one

Uh oh...common plecos get BIG. Like two feet long big. Plus, they stop eating your algae when they get older. I'd recommend exchanging him for a bristle nose pleco, unless you plan on a major tank upgrade soon :)

yea it is a a bristle nose albino so idk they say about 7 in

Do you have any driftwood in your tank? They need wood in their diet.

stephenmontero 04-14-2008 04:15 PM

yes i do have a have 2 things of drift food for him

Albinos grow smaller than the standard ones- I wouldn't expect him to grow more than 4 inches, so you're all set there.

yea i deff dont want anything to big
