I like MaxiJets. Good price, very versital.

The number and flow rate depends on your livestock and setup.

What are these "beginner fishes?" We need to know the species. Some like a lot of flow, some dont.

Tank size?

+1. They put out different flwo rates at different times, whcih makes it like a wavemaker in a way. In a 55, I would have 2 or 3 #3's.

i just ordered some maxi jets 600 i just got two of them do you think that will work? like clown fish, some Cardinal and maybe some other ones but iono which one

thinhthan 04-17-2008 07:27 PM

anyone? would two 600 work or would i need more?

Pasfur 04-18-2008 09:31 PM

Again, it depends on the details. For a fish only aquarium, you are ok.
