Is this tail rot or something else
Please help me as I don't want anything to happen to my crowntail betta (his name is Killer). He's had, looks like a white cloud in the middle of his tail. I thought at first it was "ick or tailrot" so I was treating him for (tailrot) with MELAFIX, an Antibacterial Fish Remedy, which I got from Petsmart. I also started treating him with a Blue dye medication, which says it's for ICK. I've done this for the period each medication specify's but he still has it. He is 2 years old and doing fine. He eats, swims and hangs out at the bottom of his 2 gallon tank. I don't remember him having this white spot when I bought him about 2 years ago. He's had this white spot, which looks like a white ball for over 3 months. I treated him then and I started treating him again about 2 weeks ago. Is this something that's normal or does he have something else I don't know about. Please help! :(
Since he is sorta old, I'm sure it's just age discoloration which is normal and a sign he's gettin' to senior citizen status! xD
Posting a picture would help the experts with their diagnosis.
