Dead silver molley
Well, I know I rushed it, I bought cycle and the next day bought a few fish. I have a 35g, used 7 caps of cycle then got 2 black mollies, 2 silver mollies, 2 red platies and 4 neon tetras. I have about 4 live plants. Today I took another test:
AM - .5
NI - .1
NA - 0
PH - 6.5
AK - 30
HD - 40
My silver molley kept acting wierd until he died, he kept swimming up and down, all day long on all the corners of the tank. Only lasted 3 days. :( I took him out right away (when i got home from work). So I guess I'm in for a rough cycle... I did a 33% water change before I put the fish in. Doing another 25% change on Friday. Would salt help? or should i stay away since I have live plants?
Cycle is just another product they try to sell beginners. No salt, daily 25% water change will help. Either that or see if you can bring some back.
