sponge filter question
i want to keep some shrimp and was wondering if i could put a sponge filter on the intake tube of my hob filter to keep them from getting sucked in?
You want babies? Adults won't get sucked in, unless you either have the filter set on Black Hole or the shrimp is sick (in which you need to check your parameters STAT :D ).
My shrimp like to sit on the intake of my Magnum 350 (as in 350 gallons per hour) and munch on the food going by. I really think the shrimp will be fine.
BTW, flashy, Black Hole setting made me laugh SO hard. Hehe.
thanks for the info guys!!!!
