New Moneywort plant in aquarium
Could someone please give me some info on to care for Moneywort?
lighting? fertilizer? propagation? temperature? gravel?

I have 3 stems and they seem to be turning brown in some areas. What color should the leaves be?

Medium lighting and minimul ferts. A new plant will often go through an acclimation stage. Often times losing a lot of leaves but growing back new ones once it becomes accustomed to the tank.

As easy as it should be, simply dosing micro ferts should get it to grow for you. It is a stem so your best growth will come after it gets a really good root system established also. [/img]

Im guessing ferts are fertilizers? :D will fertilizers do any damage to my fish or bacteria?

I have the moneywort in a 10 gallon tank with 2; 9 watt light bulbs ( I know, VERY low) jow many watts should I get?

Fertilizers won't hyrt anyhting in the tank as long as you don't overdose the wrong ones. Just dose what is recommended for micros and that should work fine. Dose a little more if you see any iron deficiencies.

As for lighting, 20 watts for a 10 gallon is pretty much minimum for growing anything but low light plants. 18 watts can work if you can find a flourescent fixture. If you go to find a truely useful flourescent fixture, try to get between 25-35 watts. This way you don't need CO2 to keep the algae away.

It definately wouldn't hurt plant growth to have more quality lighting.

Not meaning to Hi-jack this thread, but, I went to the LFS today and saw a plant called pennywort. Is this the same thing as moneywort (with a different name?)

Moneywort and pennywort are completely different.

Whats LFS? 8)

We always hope that they are completely different but you really have to look at the plants to make sure. Some of them label plants as worts, some will label them all as pennyworts, some simply don't know.

LFS = Local Fish Store

Very good site to learn what different plants look like and some of their requirements.
